I had my very first bridal shower this past Saturday! My matron of honor Natalie and her mom Vickie hosted a Southern Living at Home shower for me at the Church Street Tea Garden.
What a sweet little place! I’d never been there but would really recommend it, especially for showers! It was a brunch from 10:00 to 12:00. We had scones, peach tea, fruit, and chicken salad sandwiches. We had such a great turn-out of people (around 30) and I had the most wonderful time. It meant SO much to me to be surrounded by all these women (and Shane) that I cherish. If you were there, thank you so much for choosing to share this blessed time with me. I truly love all of the gifts you ordered for me from my wishlist! It’s such a blessing to have such wonderful friends and family!

Crystal,
Thank you for having the Emily, Natalie and I on your guest list for shower at the Tea Room. It was such a “girly” thing to do. It was a lot of fun and I am so happy that you received so many beautiful things. I know that you and Shane will enjoy all of them except that “Marietta Bowl”!!! Watch you both love it for something imparticular once you get it!!! 🙂 Maybe it will make a nice cereal bowl. Let’s see that will become a “EBC” instead of and “ABC”. You know, mine is the famous “BBC”! “ABC” really suits you being a teacher and all, but, you will just have to come up with something snazzy…like…”Excellent Bowl of Cereal” for such a bowl as “THE MARIETTA BOWL”
Love ya,
Jennifer

Your first shower? Dang…I’ve been wondering what that smell was this entire time…Glad it wasn’t me!
Oh, and Jennifer….ask Crystal what she thinks of that bowl now that she has seen it! HAHA!!!!
Me = win

Hi – Can I buy the Marietta Bowl from you? I am looking for two of them for each of my sisters, as a tribute to our dear mother, Marietta,
who recently died very suddenly. It would be wonderful! Congratulations on your beautiful baby!
